About Alex Boardman
Born 1965 in Colchester (the oldest recorded town in Great Britain), Alex is a figurative painter and has been drawing and painting since childhood. During the pandemic, Alex walked to the shoreline every day, working swiftly to record the constantly changing seascape.
All her works strive for economy of brush stroke to make every mark count, whether dealing with the human head, human figure or complex landscape.
Alex lives and works in Cromer.
